Description: A 1793 guinea coin showcasing the fifth laureate head of King George III facing right. The reverse side features the shield design, giving the coin the nickname ‘spade guinea’.
Metal: The guinea is 22ct gold. 9ct yellow gold scroll top.
Marks: Unmarked.
Measurements: Diameter of 24.3mm. With the scroll and jump ring, it measures 34mm.
Weight: 8.82 grams.
Condition: Very good. The scroll top is crafted in 9ct and is attached to the coin which does devalue it from a collectors point of view. We have however obviously priced this accordingly and needless to say the date speaks for itself.
