A pair of earrings made from what we suspect was previously a brooch. As you can see from the images they are an exact pair. Had they been original earrings they would have been a mirror image of one another. Despite this they work amazingly well and are a superb pair of early 20th century earrings.
Metal: Platinum.
Marks: Unmarked but tests confirm platinum.
Stones: Brilliant cut diamonds predominately with a couple of old 8 cuts included totalling approximately 1.1ct overall. Diamonds colour G/H. Clarity mostly Vs but a couple would fall into the Si category.
Measurements: 37mm from top to bottom, top sections approximately 8mm wide with the bottom aspect of the earrings slightly wider measuring 8.5mm wide.
Weight: 4.5 grams.
Condition: Excellent condition. There are signs of having been converted when you know what you are looking for and only really under magnification. Ultimately these are a wonderful pair of extremely unique earrings.
