Description: An emerald and diamond cluster ring in 18ct yellow gold featuring a rich green emerald framed by ten diamonds. Crafted entirely in 18ct yellow gold the ring dates to the early 1990s. This ring is a smaller size coming in at I 1/2 but there is good scope to size up 5-6 fingers sizes.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: C. LJ. London 1993.
Measurements: 14.8mm X 12mm rising 7.5mm. The shank measures 2mm wide.
Stones: Emerald-cut emerald of good colour, approximately 0.74ct. Ten brilliant-cut diamonds approximately 0.08ct each, colour F-H, clarity VS.
Weight: 5.01 grams.
Condition: Good. There is wear visible to the facets of the emerald. This is very common thanks to emerald being a relatively soft gemstone, however this level of wear is generally seen in old stones which makes us think this emerald has been repurposed from a far older item.
Finger size: UK I 1/2 - US & Canada 4 1/2.
