A five stone diamond half carved hoop 18ct gold ring. This particular ring has a bit of age to it but the shank has been built up in the past using a more modern piece of gold. The hallmark is far too modern but it is a common occurrence when restoring old items of jewellery to use a section of metal taken from another ring which is hallmarked. This ensures that the metal used in the restoration is up to the desired standard.
