Formally a tie pin, this came to us on a charm bracelet with lots of other similar pieces. The tie-pin would have dated to the Victorian era or into the Edwardian period. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the ivy plant features heavily in Victorian and Edwardian jewellery as it was considered symbolic of every lasting love, immortality and fidelity.
