A classic cluster configuration with an oval facetted coloured gemstone surrounded by lively bright white diamonds. The ruby has been independently assessed by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory of Kirby Street London as showing no signs of heat treatment. This particular ring is fairly modern in manufacture being hallmarked in London in 1990. It is a substantially heavy mount and of larger than average finger size. Stones: Central oval faceted natural un-heated pinkish red ruby officially described as transparent red, of approximately 1.42ct. A surround of twelve modern brilliant cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.84ct. Colour G/H, clarity Vs.
Measurements: 16mm x 14mm, 8mm proud of the finger. The shank measures 2.6mm wide.
