A very desirable style of engagement ring, crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the shoulders are platinum topped and the diamond is set in a platinum eight call setting. This ring would have been hand-made either just before WW2 or just after. It is stamped with the initial HG & S which tells us it was made by Henry Griffith and Sons and would have been made in their Royal Leamington Spa workshop.
Metal: 18ct gold and platinum.

Measurements: The setting is 5mm wide and stands 5.5mm tall. Knife edge shoulders widening to 1.8mm at the back of the finger.
Stones: Brilliant cut diamond approximately 0.30ct. Colour J/K. Clarity Si2.
Weight: 2.37 grams.
Condition: Excellent.
