This 9ct gold wedding band is a vintage utility ring from the World War II era. During the war, gold was rationed, and wedding rings were restricted to a maximum weight of 2 pennyweights (approximately 3 grams). Utility rings were stamped with a distinctive “ () ” mark, indicating compliance with wartime regulations. As shown clearly in the third image, this ring bears the official Utility stamp.
