A post-Edwardian five-stone ring, characteristic of the period. The design features three rubies and two diamonds set along the band with a claw setting.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: Hallmarked 18ct in Chester. The date letter is worn, but we estimate it to be from around 1912.
Measurements: The stones measure 17.7mm along the finger and rise 3.3mm when worn. The shank width is 1.7mm.
Stones: The ring features three oval rubies: the central ruby weighs approximately 0.25ct, while the two outer rubies weigh approximately 0.08ct each. It also includes two old brilliant-cut diamonds, each weighing approximately 0.10ct.
Weight: 2.71 grams.
Condition: In keeping with age, with slight wear to the facets of the rubies.
