A pre-owned back and front picture locket with a single rose-cut diamond set in the front. B&F lockets make use of a brass structure with what is essentially a gold caping. They are not uncommon as they were an affordable alternative to a solid gold locket. However, this did mean they were not always looked after as much and you regularly find them heavily dented. This one dates to the early part of the 20th Century. 1900 - 1910.
