Antique Diamond Set Rooster Pendant

A diamond set roost pendant, formally a bar brooch. Adorned in rose cut diamonds, this 9ct gold with silver settings is typical of the jewellery made in the mid to late Victorian eta, circa 1880s.

Metal: 9ct yellow gold with sterling silver.

Marks: Unmarked.

Measurements: 26mm from the very top of the bale to the bottom of the feet. 15mm wide.

Stones: Rose cut diamond totalling approximately 0.25ct. Single Cabochon cut ruby eye.

Weight: 2.3 grams.

Condition: Very good.
