Antique Five Stone Diamond Ring

This is a classic antique five stone diamond ring. The typical boat shape can be found with various grades of stones and the style was very common during the Victorian era.

Metal: Tests indicate 18ct yellow gold.

Marks: Hallmarks all worn. Nothing legible.

Stones: Five old cut diamonds totalling 0.35ct. Centre approximately 0.35ct, flanked either side by 0.06ct and a pair of 0.04ct on each far side.

Measurements: 5.7mm wide with the main body of the head spanning approximately 15.5mm across the finger. 3m,m tapering shoulders to 1.5mm shank.

Weight: 2.3 grams.

Finger size: P.

Condition: Very good. Resetting work has been done to secure the stone. The shank shows nothing uncommon given the age and style of the ring. Condition is taken into account when pricing.
