Antique ‘GRL’ 18ct Gold Signet Ring

A heavy 18ct yellow gold signet ring with the letters GRL hand engraved on the table of the ring. It is difficult to determine the exact order of the lettering but we suspect the L to be the last initial as it is the largest and most prominent. The initials can ultimately be utilised in any order. Made by prestigious manufacture Charles Green & Son Ltd of Birmingham, the ring has a lovely clear hallmark dating it to just before WW2.

Metal: 18ct yellow gold.

Marks: CG&S, 18, London, 1938.

Measurements: 11mm x 11mm with cut corners. D shape shank narrowing to 3mm at the back of the finger.

Weight: 7.15 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
