A typical Late Victorian, Early Edwardian five stone diamond ring crafted solely in 18ct yellow gold. Although white metal had been used for diamond settings many decades previous, there seems to be a period of time between the late 1800s into the 1900s, where the fashion was for all yellow gold. From the intricately carved half hoops to these graduated five stone rings, the all yellow ring was highly popular. This particular ring features well over half a carat of bright and lively Old European Cut diamonds.
