Product Details

The cluster ring is a timeless format. What sets the antique rings apart from the modern counterparts is their individual qualities. No two are really ever the same and what is lovely about this one is the collection of irregular old-cut diamonds around the outside. Some are a little bit off-round, borderline oval cushiony shapes. Circa 1930s based on the use of palladium for the setting and shoulders. Palladium was used thanks to being a platinum group metal but it never favoured like platinum was thanks to being tougher to manipulate and work with. The raised central diamond setting has a slight European feel to it despite the majority of the ring conforming to typical UK handmade manufacturing techniques of the era.
