A truly unique item to say the least. Totally impractical as every elaborate cocktail ring should be it is a statement piece in every which way. Vintage to late 1950s early 1960s, we are unsure of exact origins its previous owner was a well travelled lady frequenting both Europe and America.
Metal: Tests are indicating the top section being platinum where as the band is testing as 18ct white gold.
Marks: There is one small 18k stamp on the shank.
Measurements: From the bottom of the setting to the very top measures an impressive 27mm. Approximately 18mm in diameter. 3.8mm at the very back of the finger.
Stones: Vintage 8 cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.62ct overall.
Weight: 9.6 grams.
Condition: Excellent. There is evidence of a piece being put into the back to increase the size. Other than that the ring is in very good condition. Most likely owing to infrequent use.
