A classic gypsy ring featuring three diamonds each individually star set into 18ct gold. The ring has an ever so slight rose gold tint to it, not immediately noticeable until seen next to a yellow gold item. This particular ring is solid under the head unlike modern versions of the gypsy rings where there is a cavity which can become uncomfortable.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: KBSP, 18ct, Birmingham. The remainder of the hallmark is no longer visible thanks to its age.
Measurements: 7mm wide narrowing to 2.5mm at the back of the finger. 2mm rise off the finger.
Stones: There are three mixed diamonds. The first being an old cut diamond with an approximate weight of 0.04ct, the middle stone being a brilliant cut with a weight of approximately 0.08ct and the last being an old cut with an approximate weight of 0.04ct. Total combined weight is approximately 0.16ct.
Weight: 3.25grams.
Condition: Very good. We do think that the middle diamond is a replacement owing to it being a different cut to the others and a slight brighter colour.
Finger size: M 1/2, USA & Canada 6 1/4.
