Product Details

A beautiful Edwardian 9ct gold fob. Modelled in both snowflake obsidian & bloodstone, this is quite a unique piece. The fob is on a spinning rotation and so can be worn either showing the bloodstone or the snowflake obsidian. The head of the fob had hand engraved with a textured foliate design. Traditionally worn on a Gentlemen’s waistcoat attached to a watch strap, this can also be used as a pendant.

Metal: 9ct gold.

Marks: 9ct gold. Assayed in Chester. The date stamp has almost faded bit we believe this is 1903.

Stones: Snowflake Obsidian & Bloodstone.

Measurements: The fob itself has a diameter of 23.2mm wide. The entire pendant including the jumping measures 34mm tall and 27.2mm wide.

Weight: 8.4 grams.

Condition: This fob was part of a collection of eleven fobs attached to a bracelet as charms. Traditionally these were worn attached to a watch chain and relatively free from being knocked and damaged. However, being worn as part of a large collection on a bracelet, they have seen more wear than normal. As such there is some damage which can be easily seen in the images upon inspection. We have priced accordingly and their unique features have been taken into account.
