An early 20th Century 18ct gold ring set with calibre cut sapphires and natural diamonds. An attractive ring featuring a very unique decorative design for the shoulders. Standing more proud of the finger than most similar rings of the age, the sides of the ring continue the decorative style with pierced curtain gallery.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold.
Marks: Stamped 18ct.
Measurements: 5mm wide rising 3.5mm from the finger. The main aspect of the ring spreads 15mm across the finger. 1.8mm at the back of the finger.
Stones: 6x Calibre cut deep blue synthetic sapphires. Synthetic sapphires such as this we very common place, as well rubies. Natural eight cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.20ct overall.
Weight: 2.2 grams.
Condition: One of the synthetic sapphires is chipped. It is only really noticeable under magnification and we actually missed it until the point of typing this description. Condition is entirely commensurate to the age and priced accordingly.
