Edwardian Synthetic Sapphire Ring

An early synthetic sapphire ring circa early 1900s. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold and finished with diamond set detailed shoulders. Synthetic stones were all the rage 100 years ago. It was considered a feat of human engineering being able to recreate a gemstone using modern technology in a reasonably short amount of time compared to Mother Nature who took centuries.

Measurements: 11mm x 9mm rising 4mm proud of the finger.

Stones: Synthetic sapphire.
