Emerald set vintage padlock pendant

This is one of two coloured gemstone set padlocks which we have recently made. It is however the only one currently available thanks to the sapphire one selling in-store to one of our regular customers before we had a chance to upload it to the website.

Hallmarked in 1976, the padlock is typical of the era and about an average size. It is crafted in 9ct yellow gold with the emerald also being set in yellow gold.

Please note: all our diamond and gem-set padlocks make use of swivel clasps as bales. These are not original to the padlock and are likely older. We will always match the golds i.e 9ct with 9ct, 18ct with 18ct etc and we will never use gold plated ones, only original vintage or antique parts.

Metal: 9ct yellow gold.

Marks: Hallmarked AJS London 1976.

Measurements: The padlock items measures just shy of 20mm and is 15mm wide. From the top of the swivel / dog clip to the very bottom of the padlock measures 39mm.

Stones: Round faceted emerald.

Weight: 3.8 grams.

Condition: Very good.
