Purchased with another ring over the counter, this came to us without the centre stone so we have made use of a loose diamond, re-purposed from another item of jewellery that was not fit for sale. Each diamond has previously been set into another item. The smaller old cut diamonds are from a Victorian item which were used to make this ring during the 1970s in the USA. Crafted in yellow gold testing as 14ct, the metal itself was also re-purposed from our client’s Mother, so the story goes. While living in America the previous owner consolidated a large quantity of her jewellery and had a few pieces of distinction created such as this ring. The family had the centre stone removed years ago hence we have supplied and set the stone you see in the ring now.
This ring does have a few sharp bits. We would advise caution as to the circumstances this is worn. Not really suitable to be worn if you work with young children or animals.
