Marquise Shape Cluster Ring

Exhibiting all the wonderful tell tale signs of being handmade, this sapphire and diamond art deco style ring is a modern revival piece. We purchased it over the counter with a back story that it is an original 1930s ring but we found this very hard to believe. It is just in such good condition with the mill-grain detailing being so defined we cannot call it an original pre-WW2 piece of jewellery. A well made piece in it’s own right, the style of it’s construction just does not say 1930s to us.

Metal: 18ct yellow and white gold.

Marks: Unmarked - tests confirm 18ct gold.

Measurements: 25mm x 11mm. 2mm shoulders narrowing slightly to 1.5mm.

Stones: Central Brilliant cut diamond approximately 0.15ct with a further approximate diamond weight of 0.43ct made up of smaller brilliant cut diamonds. Total overall diamond weight approximately 0.58ct. Calibre cut sapphires in channel settings offer a lovely blue streak.

Weight: 4.6 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
