Pink Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring

The principal stone is a wonderfully deep pink round faceted sapphire sourced from one of the countries best coloured gemstone dealers. It is a stone we purchased loose with the intention of making something a little bit different. Made in-house to a very traditional design using 18ct yellow gold for the shank and white gold for the setting we have paired the pink sapphire with two old cut diamonds taken from an item of jewellery that was not able to be restored. The diamonds were likely cut in the later part of the Victorian era or just after.

Marks: ZEL, 750, Birmingham.

Measurements: 6.4mm x 14.5mm rising 6.2mm proud of the finger. 2mm D shape shank.

Stones: Round faceted pink sapphire exactly 1.11ct from Madagascar. Old cut diamonds totalling 0.62ct together. Colour J/K. Clarity Si3 / I1.

Weight: 3.89 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
