A superb looking pierced diamond ring featuring Brilliant cut diamonds in a combination of smooth bezel settings with grain set smaller diamonds and fine millgrain finishing. Another recent acquisition, we offer full disclosure and although this looks like it is straight out of the 1920s / 30s period of wonderful art deco jewellery, this is a far more modern made piece. It is made using the same techniques with the pierced top being hand fretted and the significant time taken in its creation.
Metal: Platinum.
Marks: Stamped PLAT.
Stones: Nine brilliant-cut diamonds with a total approximate carat weight of 0.65ct.
Carat is a measurement of weight not size when we speak of gemstones. As the vast majority of our gemstones are already set we cannot get a precise weight without unsetting them and weighing them. You will see approximate weight written on plenty of our descriptions, mostly old cuts diamonds. We endeavour to get as close as possible using a schindler but ultimately this is not exact.
Measurements: The ring has a diameter of 12.2mm and stands approximately 4.4mm proud. The shank measures 1.5mm wide.
Weight: 3.86 grams.
We always disclose the weight of the item of jewellery so you can get an idea of what you would be purchasing if you so decide too. We would highly recommend before purchasing any jewellery from anywhere, you ask for the weight if not listed.
Finger size: UK N 1/2.US & Canada 6 3/4.
Condition: Excellent.
