Description: Another recent acquisition is this Art Deco style aquamarine and diamond ring. A great looking piece featuring baguette cut diamonds in s stepped configuration coming down the shoulders. This is a pre-owned piece but this is not as old as we were first lead to believe. Only stamped PLAT we see rings such as this being passed off as antique. We will be hallmarking this one before we let it out as the law stipulates.
Metal: Platinum.
Marks: Stamped PLAT. ZLY Edinburgh 2023.
Stones: Emerald-cut aquamarine approximately 1.15ct. Six bagette-cut diamonds approximately 0.35ct in total.
Carat is a measurement of weight not size when we speak of gemstones. As the vast majority of our gemstones are already set we cannot get a precise weight without unsetting them and weighing them. You will see approximate weight written on plenty of our descriptions, mostly old cuts diamonds. We endeavour to get as close as possible using a schindler but ultimately this is not exact.
Measurements: The head of the ring measures 8.3mm x 13.6mm and rises to be approximately 4mm when worn. The shank measures 1.8mm wide.
Weight: 4.15 grams.
We always disclose the weight of the item of jewellery so you can get an idea of what you would be purchasing if you so decide too. We would highly recommend before purchasing any jewellery from anywhere, you ask for the weight if not listed.
Finger size: UK N 1/2.US & Canada 6 3/4.
Condition: Excellent.
