A stunning Victorian diamond bow necklace circa 1850’s.
Suspends from a fine continental silver chain, this pendant is embellished with twenty-four small rose-cut diamonds with the star of the show of course being the central pear shaped rose-cut.A stunning statement piece.
Metal: Silver settings on a 14ct gold frame.
Marks: JRJ with Dutch marks.
Stones: The centre diamond is a rose cut pear shape approximately 0.50ct colour K/L, clarity I1 / I2. Twenty-four small rose-cut & old-cut diamonds surround the centre stone approximately 0.01ct each.
The total approximate carat weigh is 0.74ct.
Measurements: 41mm top of the bow to the very bottom of the pear shaped cluster formation. At it s widest the pendant is 13.5mm at its widest.The pear diamond is 5.2mm proud when worn. Chain length 17 inches.
Weight: 4.9 Grams.
Condition: Excellent. This is a delicate piece and would be ideally worn on special occasions.
