We believe this ring did not start off as a ring, The head of the ring was likely part of a tiara or an elaborate necklace that has been repurposed to create this beautiful statement cluster ring. The rings old-cut diamonds are set in silver settings allowing us to date this aspect of the ring to the victorian era. The decorative shank is however a far later addition but made very much in the style of a Georgian band.
