Product Details

A wonderful pendant which we have converted from a brooch. Set with diamonds and pearls it dates to the mid to late era of Victorian jewellery manufacture and is crafted in 9ct gold and sterling silver. The articulated bale has been made from part of the brooch and works perfectly offering excellent movement to the piece. The irregular facets of the rose cut diamonds makes the light dance across the pendant.

Metal: 9ct frame with sterling silver top.

Marks: Unmarked.

Measurements: From the very top of the bale to the bottom of the pendant; 32.5mm. 18.5mm wide.

Stones: 2x half cultured pearls (likely not the original as they are in excellent condition for the age of the piece. If they are not original they are the perfect replacements as they fit the settings near perfectly). 1x Old cut diamond approximately 0.07ct in the middle of the bow between the two hearts. The others are all old rose cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.42ct. Total diamonds weight estimated at 0.49ct. Colour H/I. Clarity mostly Vs, one or two would likely fall into the Si category.

Weight: 3.75 grams.

Condition: Excellent.
