Used as a sweetheart or memorial piece, this picture pendant contains the lock of a loved one’s hair. We will happily remove the lock of hair upon purchase should you wish but until then it will stay where it has been for decades, possibly a century. Circa Late Victorian, this is typical of the items of jewellery being made at the time. A collection of varying sizes of pearl adorn the majority of the piece with the focal point being the sapphire and diamond cluster in the centre.
The price advertised includes
the 18ct gold chain it is pictured on. This is a far more modern chain dating to the early 1970s. 24 inches long and featuring a safety chain, it can be removed and the heart pendant sold separately. Pendant £1995, chain £895.

Measurements: From the top of the bale to the very bottom of the heart measures 34mm. The pendant is 20.5mm at its widest and is approximately 9mm at its thickest.
Stones: Central old cut deep blue natural sapphire surrounded by six old cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.90ct exhibiting excellent fire and brilliance. Diamond colour G/H, clarity Si1/2. Collection of seed pearls of good colour and lustre.
