A late Victorian ruby and diamond three stone ring. Typical of the age, featuring hand chased decorative detailing, the stones are set low into the metal allowing for good daily use.
Metal: 18ct yellow gold
Marks: Unmarked - tests confirm that the ring is 18ct gold.
Measurements: 8mm x 12mm. The shoulders are 5mm at their widest and then narrow down to 2.5 at the back of the finger.
Stones: Ruby and Diamond. The diamonds are old cut diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 0.36ct.
Weight: 6.22 grams.
Condition: Very very good. The shank show signs of being a replacement. This is extremely common in rings of this age. It is impossible to say for certain how long ago this was done but it is by no means a recent restoration.
