This vintage ring dates to the 1970s and features a single old-cut diamond in a raised white gold platform to one corner. It is likely that the diamond was once in another item of jewellery, perhaps belonging to a female relative, and repurposed into this gentleman’s signet ring. The diamond far pre-dates the ring and was likely cut in the early 20th Century, circa 1910-1920. Stepped detailing to the shoulders adds a bit of extra design making it stand out from the normal signet rings of the age.
